Accounting/Administrative Position - Express Employment (Dubuque, IA) in Dubuque, Iowa For Sale

Dubuque Company is seeking an Accounting/Administrative person. This is a full-time position, temp-to-hire. Candidates will be performing accounting duties such as: Verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records. Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (e.g., disbursement, receipts, and accounts payable). Enters data into computer system using defined computer program Compile data and prepare a variety of reports. Reconciles records with internal company employees and management, or external vendors or customers. Recommends actions to resolve discrepancies and investigate questionable data. Quickbooks experience in the following aspects: General ledger-(Job specifically PayPal, E-bay, Web Site Sales(WSM), and Amazon) Accounts Receivable Accounts Payable Reconciling the aging report Bank Reconciliations-(2 companys financial end of month) Spreadsheets-(maintaining the sales journals and cost of goods for Amazon, EBay, and WSM) Deposits Enter bills/ paying Other miscellaneous duties include but are not limited to: Shipping Receiving Answering the phone Automotive background and knowledge preferred Possible sales duties, phone and walk in customers (Based on level of automotive knowledge) Account Reconciliation Data entries for Payroll Company hours: 8:30am-5pm Monday-Friday.
